Your golf grip is very important if you want to administer the correct swing. The grip is one aspect that is commonly underestimated by most golfers, particularly the ammeters and as a result there are mis hits. Ninety percent of mis-hits are because of using the incorrect grip. Keep in mind that, your best grip is not going to be the next guy’s best so it is always advisable to find your grip rather than imitate that of someone else’s.

The interlocking golf grip is when the pinkie and the index fingers are locked together when you are holding the golf club. If your fingers are short and you have small hands then this grip should work for you. It is also good for golfers who lose control of the club when you they are in the process of swinging. These two fingers interlock each other and ensure a firm grip.

With this grip, you will be able to address the slices and improve on the speed of your swing.

The overlap golf grip is the most popular and most believe it is the best golf grip if you want a perfect swing. This time the pinkie finger overlaps the index finger when holding the club. This allows you to have a better feel on the while holding the club. This means that your swing is more fluid and flexible.

When you are holding the golf club, avoid holding it with your palms, rather hold it with your fingers.

Check the angle of your grip. The best grip angle is the neutral one whereby your grip runs in a diagonal line from the index finger to the middle of the palm. Accuracy is a certainty when you are using this angle both in the distance and the speed.
